Dr. Emily Blue, DC, BA

Dr. Emily is the owner of Russell Health Collective. She is a registered chiropractor in Ontario and a member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.  She also works as an Advanced Practice Provider with the Rapid Access Clinic for Low Back Pain at The Ottawa Hospital.

 

Dr. Emily completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology before attending the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in the UK where she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic with distinction.  Dr. Emily and her husband Lloyd established a practice together in London, UK before deciding to move back to Ottawa.

While living and practicing in London, Dr. Emily also worked as chiropractic lecturer at London South Bank University specializing in behavioural science, public health and clinical nutrition.  She enjoys incorporating aspects of behaviour change into her practice to encourage a positive and goal-oriented mindset in her patients.

Dr. Emily thrives on helping you to learn and understand how your body moves and functions. She utilizes a variety of adjustment and mobilization techniques to customize your care according to your needs.  Dr. Emily is also Webster Technique certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association and enjoys supporting and educating pregnant and postpartum patients on their journey.

CLINIC MANAGER & CLINICAL MOVEMENT COACH

Lloyd Morgan, MSc

Lloyd is Russell Health Collective’s Clinic Manager and Clinical Movement Coach. Originally from the UK, Lloyd completed his undergraduate degree in Sport Science with First Class Honours as well as a Master of Science in Performance Coaching. 

 

Lloyd has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years.  As a keen sportsman, he has played rugby at international level. As a coach, he has been involved in high level rugby academies in the UK and has worked with Olympic athletes pre and post-surgery as part of their rehabilitation team.  Before moving to Ottawa, Lloyd worked at a multidisciplinary chiropractic clinic in London, UK with Dr. Emily. 

 

He uses his expertise in a high-performance environment to deliver clinical movement coaching to patients alongside their chiropractic care to facilitate improvements in their health and wellness.

Carolyn Pothier Physiotherapist Headshot

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Carolyn Pothier

Carolyn Pothier is a physiotherapist registered with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists, after having obtained her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. She has a strong foundation in both academic and practical aspects of physiotherapy that enables her to offer personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient to achieve lasting results.

 

Carolyn has pursued extensive post-graduate training to enhance her expertise and offers a wide range of therapeutic options such as Complete Concussion Management, manual therapy (including the McKenzie Method and the Mulligan Concept), dry needling, acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation and GLA:D for osteoarthritis management.  Carolyn provides expert support for those looking to overcome chronic pain, injuries, surgical recovery, or sports-related issues, guiding them towards better health, mobility and quality of life. 

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Michelle Leduc

Michelle is Russell Health Collective's Registered Massage Therapist.  She is a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College and registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.  Her training includes Active Release Techniques, injury prevention and rehabilitation for runners and she holds various coaching certifications (UESCA, RRCA, NCCP).  Michelle brings her fascination of the human body and background in running and strength training into the treatment room. As a runner for over 25 years, she understand the demands of the sport with respect to training, its impacts to the body and the frustrations of an injury.

 

Outside of the clinic, she can be found training for her next ultramarathon adventure. She contributes to the running community through coaching with the Russell Run Club and volunteering with the New York Central Fitness Trail parkrun.
